Good Hope Cemetery


CANDACE HUNGERFORD
The funeral service for Candace Hungerford, 45, of Helena, OK. will be 2 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church in Helena. Rev. Jay Drawbridge and Rev. Bob Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., of Helena.
Candace was born on August 28, 1960, in Enid to Ken and Marilyn Hungerford and died on Friday, February 24, 2006, in the hospital in Ada, OK. She graduated from Helena-Goltry High School in 1978, and was a member of First Christian Church in Helena. She worked for the Prader-Willy Organization in Tulsa.
Candace had a thirst for life. She enjoyed swimming, walking and talking to everyone that she met. She loved babies and sharing time with her family during the holidays. Candace was happiest when she was playing Santa Claus at Christmas, popping fireworks on the Fourth of July, or working on puzzles.
She loved her nieces and nephews, and she especially enjoyed watching them play basketball. She was one of the most friendly individuals that you would ever meet.
Candace is survived by her parents, Ken and Marilyn of Helena, OK.; four brothers, Kim of Ft. Worth, Texas, Kip of Helena, OK., Craig of Three Rivers, Texas, and Kirk of Helena, OK.; one sister, Colette McBride and her husband, Marty of Crescent, OK.; four nephews; four nieces; and two great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Chris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation through the funeral home. (Paid Obit 2-28-1)
