Celebration of Life service for Jeffrey Scott Haffner, 61, of Grove, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Anderson Burris Funeral Home, Enid, Okla., with the Rev. James Pasley officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, Okla. Visitation with the family is 5:30-7 p.m. today, April 10, at the funeral home.

Jeff was born April 12, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Mr. And Mrs. Woodrow Haffner. Jeff lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and the gates of Heaven opened for him to be united with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Jeff grew up in Lahoma, Okla., and graduated from Lahoma High School in 1971.

He married the love of his life, Vickie Daleleen Pettus on Dec. 31, 1971.

After graduation, Jeff entered the Oklahoma National Guard to serve his country. Then in 1982, he began working for Oklahoma Natural Gas until he retired in 2013.

Jeff and Vickie were members of Grove First Baptist Church. He also was an excellent handyman that helped his family and friends with home renovation projects anytime they asked.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Vickie Haffner of the home; his four boys, William Scott and wife Heather of Enid, Okla., Dustin Dale and wife Kallie of Grove, Okla., Brady Neal and wife Cassie of Bartlesville, Okla., and Brandon Frederick and wife Amy of Ringwood, Okla.; and six grandchildren, Jace, Sage, Addy, Kailer, Carter and William. He also is survived by Jim and Lee Pettus and Pat and Sandy Pettus, both of Lahoma, Okla., Mike and Cheryl Pettus of Guthrie, Okla., Nancy and Dave Thomas of Celina, Texas, and Polly and Jeff Watkins of Lahoma, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Dale and Jerleen Pettus.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Grove First Baptist Church.
