Edna Marea Oakley Glasgow

Teague, TX. -- Graveside service for Edna Marea Glasgow, 88, who died Dec. 10, 1990, in Fairfield, TX., was at 2 p.m. Thursday in Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, OK. The Rev. Dennis Fulbright officiated. Kenny Lanman Funeral Home, Helena, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 8, 1902, in Ringwood, OK. to George and Ada Keesecker Oakley and attended Cleo Springs and Ringwood schools. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva, OK. She lived in the Helena and Ringwood areas until 1976 when she moved to Houston, TX. to be near her sons. She was a member of First Christian Church. In 1984 she moved to Teague.

She is survived by two sons, James of Houston, TX. and Bill of Buffalo, TX.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Glasgow, in 1977, and by five brothers.
