Helena, OK. -- Funeral service for Lola D. Davis, 99, was Tuesday at Helena Church of Christ with Bill Springer officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery directed by Lanman Funeral Home. She died March 11, 2005 at Great Plains Care Center, Helena, OK.
She was born June 3, 1905 in Wellington, KS., to L.A. and Emma Lou Demuth Noel. After her graduation from Harper, KS. High School, she taught school and worked at a bank. On Aug. 11, 1937, she married Foy Davis of Helena and moved to Helena to be a farmer's wife and a homemaker. She was a member of Helena Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and caregivers, R.T. and Claudine DeLay of Helena, OK.
Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice Circle of Love through the funeral home.
