MARLENE KELTCH WESTON
The funeral for Marlene Weston, 75, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel, Cherokee. The Revs. Jim and Gail Edmison will officiate. Private graveside services will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Alva to Tom and Hazel Erion Keltch and died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Cherokee Manor.
She attended school in Alva and married William B. Weston Oct. 5, 1947, in Alva. They made their home in Cherokee before moving to Oklahoma City, Norman and Bartlesville. They returned to Cherokee in 1973. She was a member of Methodist church.
Surviving are one son, Bill of Owasso; one daughter, Marilyn J. Dibono of Chico, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy Geis of Enid; two brothers, Jack Keltch of Caldwell, Kan., and Tom Keltch of Pretty Prairie, Kan.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, on Sept. 5, 2002.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Alzheimer’s research.
