ENID — Funeral for Mrs. Audrey “Maxine” Sweatt, 87, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Alan Seibel will officiate. Burial will follow in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Services are under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born April 9, 1925, to L.T. and Vivian Campbell Boston in Cherokee, OK, and passed away January 26, 2013, in Tonkawa, OK.

She grew up in Alfalfa County and graduated from Jet High School in 1943 as valedictorian.

She married Bob Sweatt July 26, 1943. He passed away April 12, 1996, in Enid.

She worked at Sears for 20 years and Vance Air Force Base for 25 years.

She is survived by her son, Steve and his wife Paula Sweatt of Enid; daughter, Rose Mary Robison of Tonkawa; sister, Ruth Barnes of Ohio; brother, Bob Boston of Enid; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; one daughter, Nancy Bartlett; one son-in-law, Dr. Jamie Robison; one brother, Bill; two sisters. Bernice Thornberry and Doris Wofford; and her parents.

Memorials may be given in her name to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Ponca City, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made at Brown-Cummings.com.
