Peggy Eash Page
The funeral for Peggy Eash Page, 75, will be 2 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Jet. The Rev. Vera Walton will officiate. Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena.
She was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Enid to Palmer and Gladys Kingsley Eash and died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Great Plains Care Center, Helena.
She attended Garfield Elementary School until 1944, when the family moved to Kiowa, Kan. They later moved to Cherokee where she graduated from Cherokee High School in 1949.
She married Jerry Schoeb June 19, 1949, in Cherokee. She married Ivan Page Nov. 2, 1970, in Enid.
She was a member of Jet Christian Church, ESA sorority and National Guard Auxiliary. She worked at Titus Studio, Cherokee Locker Plant, Smith Drug, Fair Store and Alfalfa County National Bank. She was a Bellmon Belle, was a secretary of United Way in Cherokee, tutored students at Jet-Nash school and was a hostess at Glidewell Home at Cherokee Strip Museum in Enid.
Surviving are two daughters, Amanda Redman of Goltry and Pamela Schoeb of Denver; one sister, Joy Hawkins of Cherokee; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, and two infant children.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Jet Fire Department.
