ROSETTA MCDONALD
The funeral for Rosetta McDonald, 93, of Cherokee, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cherokee United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Goodwin Funeral Home, Cherokee. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 28, 1913, in Cherokee to Noah and Anna Ketterman Shafer and died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at Norman Regional Hospital.
She graduated from Cherokee High School in 1931 and married Wayne McDonald in 1935. She was a homemaker and worked in sales at Dunning Toggery in Cherokee. She was a member of Cherokee United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathleen Mash; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Cherokee United Methodist Church.
