Cherokee Municipal Cemetery


CHEROKEE — A memorial service for Martha Hatfield, 90, will be at a later date. She was cremated at her request. Arrangements by Goodwin Funeral Home.

Charlene was born March 10, 1922, in Lawrence, Kansas, to George and Margaret Caselman Clark and died Friday, May 25, 2012, in Cherokee.

She married William Hatfield.

Surviving are daughter Bernadette (Bernie) Arganbright, Cherokee; siblings, Peggy Maltby and Phillip Kraus; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her husband, William, in 1984; infant daughter Margaret; one brother; and one sister.

Memorials: Cherokee Manor activity fund through Goodwin.
