Cherokee Municipal Cemetery


Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Alva, with the Rev. James D. Knight presiding. Burial will be in the Cherokee Municipal Cemetery under the direction of the Goodwin Funeral Home of Cherokee.

Ruth is survived by her son Stephen, his wife Kim, and granddaughter Natasha of Alva, and sister Janice Wilson of Woodward; sisters-in-law Donna Messal of Enid and Lela Watkins of Los Animas, Colo., as well as many well loved nieces and nephews and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, a son William Thomas who died in childhood, her husband Bill, and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rainbow House in care of Goodwin Funeral Home in Cherokee.
