Geraldine M. “Jerry” Cook
Funeral for Geraldine M. “Jerry” Cook, 95, of Enid will be 10 a.m. Monday at Community Bible Church. The Rev. Tom Kooksey and Lance Davidson will officiate. Burial will be 12:30 p.m. in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1913, in Lambert to C.E. and Pearl Young Smith and died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at her home.
She graduated from Cherokee High School in 1931. She was a member of National Honor Society. She married Leslie Cook May 23, 1933. He died in 1975. She worked for Dr. Devin, Parsons and Benson Clinic, and at Cherokee City Hall. She was deputy clerk for Cherokee, retiring in 1975. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cherokee.
Surviving is one son, Bill, of the home.
She was preceded in death by one son.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Community Bible Church or Ross Hospice.
