The funeral for Allen Steven Coffman, 73, was at 2 PM Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Walters officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Fisher Funeral Home. He died March 3, 1992 at Alfalfa County Hospital

He moved to the Cherokee area in 1961. He had owned Southgate Lanes. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2855 in Blackwell, Jet Masonic Lodge, Cherokee Order of Eastern Star, past patron, past master and life member of Disabled American Veterans, 24th Infantry Division
