Carmen Cemetery


Carmen – Funeral services for Jennie H. Winterberg, 87, who died Tuesday night in an Enid hospital, will be at 2 PM today in the Methodist Church with Rev. George Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Carmen Cemetery under direction of Wentworth Mortuary, Carmen.

Born in Iowa, she came to Oklahoma in 1900. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Hawkins, Overland Park, Kansas, and Mrs. Vashti Newman, Leavenworth, Kansas; two sons, Lt. Col. Don Winterberg, Wichita, and Francis Winterberg, Merrill Island, Florida; two sisters, Glodia Julich, Oklahoma City and Adila McLain in California; one brother, Clarence Hall, Lincoln, Nebraska; eight grandchildren, and two great – grandchildren.
