MARY I. KOST
The funeral for Mary I. Kost, 95, of Carmen, OK. will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carmen Christian Church. The Rev. Kirk Board will officiate. Burial will be in Carmen City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wentworth Mortuary, Carmen, OK.
She was born Dec. 14, 1910, northeast of Carmen, OK. to Walter and Allie Belle Young Baldwin and died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Greenbrier Nursing Home, Enid, OK.
She graduated from Carmen High Scool in 1929. She married Evert Kost Oct. 3, 1930, at Aline, OK. They made their home north of Carmen. He died April 23, 1971.
She was a member of Christian Church and After 55 Club.
Surviving are one son, Richard of Enid, OK.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Besides her husband, Evert, she was preceded in death by one half sister, one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Carmen Christian Church, or After 55 Club.
