DONALD EUGENE DUBBS
The funeral for Donald Eugene Dubbs, 76, of Carmen, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Wentworth Mortuary Chapel, Carmen,OK. Leroy Cox and Duane Orr will officiate. Burial will be in Carmen city cemetery.
He was born Sept. 29, 1929, in Lambert, OK. to Arl and Charlotte Kellerman Dubbs and died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Fairview Hospital.
He grew up on the family farm and attended Lambert school. He served in the Army from 1948 to 1950 and was stationed in Panama.
He married Rose Marie Razey May 21, 1950, in Cherokee, OK. They lived in several places including Wichita, Kan., and Sylvan Grove, Kan. He worked on the railroad, was a truck driver and farmer. He retired in 1988. They moved to Carmen in October 2004. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Alva, OK.
Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie, of the home; three daughters, Joyce Marie Poole of Bowie, Md., Patricia Elane Grove of Ellsworth, Kan., and Beverly Jean Daly of Summerville, Pa.; one sister, Shirley Jean Case of Wichita, KS.; one brother, Dwane Dubbs of Tulsa, OK.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Alva, OK.
