Mareitta Jo "Jody" (Boyce) Cox
Funeral services for Mareitta Jo "Jody" Cox of Enid, Oklahoma, formerly of Carmen, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at the Wentworth Chapel in Carmen with Rev. John Bizzell officiating. Interment followed in the Carmen City Cemetery under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC.
Mareitta Jo "Jody" (Boyce) Cox, daughter of the late Jim Verdis and Evelyn Faye (Brooks) Boyce was born January 19, 1942 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, and passed away at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas, at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 19 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Jody is survived by on son, one daughter, two grandchildren, one brother, one sister, other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home for funeral expenses. Remembrances may be shared with the family at www.marshallfuneralhomes.com.
