March 16, 1931 - July 31, 2018

The funeral service for Lynn Douglas Puffinbarger, 87, is 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Cherokee Friends Church with the Rev. Dave Emery officiating. Interment is in the Byron-Amorita Cemetery, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

There will be a visitation 5-7:00 p.m. today, August 2, 2018, at the Cherokee Friends Church.

Lynn Douglas Puffinbarger, son of the late Elmer Ray and Jessie (Terry) Puffinbarger, was born March 16, 1931, in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma, and passed away July 31, 2018, at Cherokee, Oklahoma.

Lynn is survived by three children, Loretta Doak and husband, Randy, of Okeene; Lynetta Cressler and husband, Ross, of Hoxie, Kansas; and Tommy Puffinbarger and wife, Angela, of Burlington; one brother, Loy Puffinbarger and wife, Anne, of Edmond; one sister, Muriel Bushman and husband, Jerald, of Enid; two sisters-in-law, Cleo McCollough of Enid and Madie Faye Puffinbarger of Vici; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alfalfa County 4-H, through the Marshall Funeral Home.
