Aaron Leroy Farney
Funeral Service for Aaron Leroy Farney is Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Apostolic Christian Church in Kiowa, Kansas with Ron Allenbach and Jeff Bahr officiating. Burial followed at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery near Burlington with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. Memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com.
Aaron was born on September 10, 1923 to Reuben and Lydia Luthi Farney on the family farm near He entered the United States Air Force in April 1943, was stationed in France and was discharged in March of 1946. Aaron married Erline McDowell on November 1, 1953 in the Christian Church in Cherokee.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Erline of Burlington; two sons, three granddaughters, four great grandsons, one brother and five nieces.
Memorials may be given to the Leukemia Association or the Church through the funeral home.
