SHELBEY LEVI RYEL
The funeral for Shelbey Levi "Boo" Ryel, 18, of Helena, OK., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2005, at Timberlake High School Auditorium, Helena. The Revs. Casey McKenna and Cody Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Aline Star Cemetery, Aline, OK. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Helena.
The casket will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and before the service at the high school.
He was born Aug. 27, 1986, in Enid, OK. to Steve and Charla LeCrone Ryel and died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Okeene, OK. Municipal Hospital.
He was raised and lived in the Alva-Aline area, graduating from Alva High School. He recently had moved to Okeene, OK. and was working as a welder at Mabar in Fairview, OK. He was a member of Fairview Wranglers Club.
During high school he was active in 4-H, FCCLA, FCA and FFA. As an FFA member he exhibited swine in local and state stock shows, winning several plaques and ribbons. He was involved in Promise Keepers and Church of the First Born, Okeene, OK.
Surviving are his parents, Steve and Charla Ryel of Aline, OK.; his fiancee, Ashley Dull of Okeene, OK.; one brother, Brandeon Ryel of Ringwood, OK.; two sisters, Heather Nusser of Alva, OK. and Destinay Whisenhunt of Topeka, KS.; his grandparents, Lucille Ryel of Aline, OK., Martha LeCrone of Aline, OK., Forrest and Mary LeCrone of Sulphur, OK., and Cameron and Joan Hayes of Okeene, OK.
Memorials may be made at State Guaranty Bank, Okeene, OK., or through the funeral home to Shelbey and Ashley's baby's educational fund.
