LEALON HOLLOWAY
The funeral for Lealon Holloway, 76, of Enid, OK., formerly of Aline. OK., will be 1 p.m. Monday at Aline United Methodist Church, Aline. The Rev. Ken Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Aline Star Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and before the service at the church Monday.
He was born March 17, 1929, in Wilson, OK. to Robert Henry and Charlie Mae Moon Holloway and died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at his home in Enid, OK.
He graduated from Wilson High School. He married Christine Lewis Sept. 11, 1948, in Gainesville, Texas. They made their home in Healdton, OK. moving to Enid, OK. in 1966, then to Aline in 1973. In 1996, they returned to Enid. She died in November 1999.
He was self-employed as an independent pumper. He was a member of Aline United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Janice Clark, Brenda Decker, Diane Walker and Carol Hayt, all of Enid, OK.; one sister, Elvia Bishop of Wilson, OK.; one brother, Jack Holloway of Houston, TX.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Christine, he was preceded in death by one grandson and several brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
