Aline Star Cemetery


Ringwood – Mrs. Alice Opal (Allen) Holdeman, 67, Ringwood, died Saturday morning in a Woodward hospital.

Born on August 5, 1912 at Aline, Mrs. Holdeman was raised and educated there. On September 5, 1934, she married Ervin R. Holdeman at Cherokee. They lived for a number of years in Ringwood, where she was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

Mrs. Holdeman was preceded in death by her husband, who died on March 6, 1979; an infant son, a grandson, her parents, one sister, and one brother.

She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Hubbell, Fillmore, California; three sons – Dewey Holdeman of Fort Supply, Allen Holdeman of Ringwood, and Larry Holdeman of Riverside, California; two step – daughters, Patricia Kiser of Inman, Kansas, and Velinda Sennett of McAlester; one step – son, Earnest Holdeman of Long Beach, California; one brother – Melvin (Red) Allen of Ringwood; two sisters – Mrs. Elnora Brinson of Ringwood and Mrs. Betty Bradshaw of Phoenix, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; three great – grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in the Ringwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Aline Star Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
