December 21, 1952 - February 4, 2020

Former Fairview resident, Robert (Bob) Owen Campbell, 67, died February 4, 2020, in Oklahoma City surrounded by his family after a 3-year battle with leukemia.

Bob was born on December 21, 1952, in Enid, Oklahoma, to L.M. and Dorothy Campbell. He was the third of four brothers. He was raised in Goltry and graduated from Helena-Goltry High School in 1971. After graduation, Bob joined the United States Navy and served 6 years aboard various ships as a machinist mate. Bob was deployed off the coast of Vietnam when Saigon fell in April 1975.

Bob was united in marriage to Michele Goodno on September 2, 1972. After discharging from the Navy in August 1977, Bob and Michele returned to Aline, Oklahoma, where Bob began working in the oilfield for various oil and gas companies, including TXO, Delhi, OneOK, and retired with Chesapeake in 2018. Bob also farmed and worked with his father-in-law, Ted Goodno.

Bob and Michele's marriage was blessed with two children, Casey Wayne and Andy Jeff.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren. Bob also enjoyed farming, fishing, and frequent trips to Lowes.

Bob leaves many family members to cherish his memory. Survivors include wife Michele; son Casey and his wife, Jenna, and their two daughters, Reese and Emerson; son Andy and his wife, Gina, and their two children, Kynlee and Cayden; brother Terry and his wife Cathy; brother Dennis; brother J.K. and wife Jane; sister-in-law Melonie Stinson and her husband, Steve; niece Emily Powell and her husband, Brandon; niece Amy Oatman, and her husband Mark; niece Jaicee Stinson; and nephew Cooper Stinson.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Ted and Louise Goodno.

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Fairview, Oklahoma, with a graveside committal at Aline Star Cemetery to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home.
