Vivian Clessie Lanier
January 17, 1919 - December 31, 2006
Vivian Clessie Lanier, 87, passed away December 31, 2006.
She was born January 17, 1919 in Johnson County, Arkansas to Frank and Pearl Young.
She was the tenth of eleven children.
She married Woodrow Lanier July 22, 1939. After a brief residence in New Mexico, they made their home in Westville where they lived together for 59 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow who passed November 6, 1998 and her son Jerry Don Lanier who passed July 12, 1967.
She is survived by her son Charles Lanier and wife Debbie of Kansas, OK, daughter Patsie Shafer and huband Alan of Wellston, OK, daughter Peggy Nazarali and husband Alex of Kennewick, WA, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 3, 2006 in the Westville City Cemetery with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
