Raymond Dean Turner

Raymond Dean Turner was born June 6, 1945, in Miami, Oklahoma to Rev. Ted and Mildred (Holland) Turner. He departed this life January 2, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 28 days.

Raymond married Maurine Hill on September 4, 1964, in Watts, Oklahoma. He worked as a truck driver for Simmons Foods Inc. for many years until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Ted and Mildred Turner, two brothers, Otis Turner and Amos Turner.
His surviving family includes, his wife, Maurine, of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Turner, of the home; three sons, Ron Turner and wife, Karen, of Westville, Clay Turner and wife, Gina, of West Siloam Springs, Clint Turner and wife, Kim, of Westville; two brothers, Everett Turner, of Sperry, Jim Turner and wife, Ruby, of Westville; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, special friends, Carl and Nancy Ellis and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Roberts and Hart Funeral Chapel with Rev. Will Gardner officiating.

Interment will follow at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts and Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
