Johnny Henry Phillips

Johnny Henry Phillips, son of John Calvin and Mary Alma (Drain) Phillips was born May 10, 1934 in Walnut Grove, Arkansas and departed this life on December 13, 2012 in Houston, Texas at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 3 days.
He worked for Hiland Dairy Company for 31 years before retirement. After retirement he enjoyed visiting with people and going to the local coffee shop. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; John Phillips and Alma Goddard, his step father; Leo Goddard, brother; Max Hankins and nephew Kenny Hankins.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; David Phillips and wife Heidi of Springfield, MO, Dennis Phillips of Elizabeth City, NC, Peggy James and husband Marc of Houston, TX and Elaine Anderson of Marshall, AR, 9 grandchildren; Shylah Chainey and husband J.P., Jessica Rodriguez and husband Daniel, Tyler Phillips, Corey Phillips, Ben James, Matt James, Lindsey Anderson, Kylee Anderson and Shea Anderson. 5 great grandchildren; Nicolas Chainey, Kaylee Chainey, Peyton Chainey, Kyler Rodriquez and Kaden Rodriquez and 1 on the way, 1 sister; Betty Wilton of Fayetteville, AR, 1 brother; Bobby Drain and wife Mary of Lincoln, AR. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK, with Pastor Lee Power officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
