Naomi Evelyn Murray
February 10, 1917 - May 4, 2006
Naomi Evelyn Murray, daughter of Ira Grove and Sarah Elizabeth (Kraybill) Engle was born February 10, 1917 in Leedy, OK. And departed this life on May 4, 2006 in Ada, OK, at the age of 89 years, two months and 23 days.
She was married to George Murray on June 12, 1936 and to this union three children were born.
She was a nurse in the Healthcare industry for many years
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Eileen Carol Murray and one grandson: Brian Allen Bledsoe, two sisters: Mildred Barnes and Ester Sheets.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes one son: Duane Murray and wife Freda of Edmond, one daughter: Coleen Bledsoe and husband Bert of Ada, five grandchildren: Lilsa Francis and husband Larry of Stillwater, Julia Ridlon and husband Don of Edmond, Matthew Murray of Tulsa, Debbie Purton and husband Tim of Moore, Melanie Lawson of Ada, nine grandchildren, one sister in law: Nell Murray, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Westville, with Rev. Joel Betow officiating.
Interment followed in the Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
