Archie Jerome Myers 85 of Westville, OK., passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at his home in Westville, OK.
He married his wife of 40 years Alice Lucille (Sanford) Myers in Weldman, MI, on february 18, 1969.
He was a vetran of World War 11, having honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; Alice Lucille Myers of the home, son; Marvin Myers and wife Robin of Reed City, MI, 2 daughters; Pam Woodbury and husband John of Cadillac, MI, and Lisa Hart and husband Cyrus of Barryton, MI, 8 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren, 8 step children; Roger Eaton of the home, Diana Woodbury of Lincoln, AR., Melvin Eaton of the home, Becky Barrow and husband Steve of Washington, IL., Jeana Green and Walter Hatfield of Lincoln, AR., Willie Eaton and wife Sherry of Eagle, MI., Roberta Voss and husband Stuart of Weidman, MI., and Tammy Unger and husband David of Stilwell, OK, 20 step grandchildren and 26 step great grandchildren. 3 sisters; Arlene Mobley of Evart, MI., Forence Ockert and husband Paul of Lyons, MI., and Sharon Rodgers of Farwell, MI., 2 brothers; Carl Myers and wife Gladys of Lake, MI., and Rolland Myers and wife Judy of Siloam Springs, AR., and is survived by many nieces and nephews and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; Adabelle Myers, 3 children; Marsha, Jeffery, and Carl Myers, 2 grandchildren; Joshua Myers and Brian Hart. 2 step sons in law; Jim Woodbury and Brad Brault, 1 step granddaughter; Melanie Brault.
Servies were held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Siloam Springs, AR. Burial will be held at the Westville Cemetery in Westville, OK., Officiated by Rev. Becky Barrows under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funerla Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
