Joann Ross - Mullin Luper

Joann “Mamaw” (Ross – Mullin) Luper was born to Wasker Rome Ross and Willie Lee (Rutherford) Ross on March 4, 1938 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and departed from this life on Saturday, October 20, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Joann was part of a large family that is well known and liked in the Westville and Watts communities. She helped support her family in various jobs over the years, but many will remember her as a florist and her beautiful floral creations. She married George Luper on July 2, 1982 and they brought together their families to make one loving family. She made many friends during her lifetime and will always be fondly remembered.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Wasker and Willie Ross, granddaughter: Krista Palmgren, sisters: Willadene Cooper, Zelladene Shipley, Carolene Barlow, Madelene Sylvester, brothers: J. W. Ross, Darrell Ross, Harold Dale Ross, Jerry Ross and Eugene Ross.
She is survived by her husband: George Luper of Claremore, OK, daughters: Lani Maples and husband Kenn of Kearney, MO, Sandy Palmgren and husband David of Frisco, TX, Tammy Parrish and husband Clifford of Owasso, OK, step-daughters: Shanda Wilcoxen and husband Steven of Siloam Springs, AR, Sarieta Luper of Kansas, OK, brother: Sheridan Ross of Watts, OK, grandchildren: Ashli Parrish, Nicole Palmgren, Breanne Maples, Heather Palmgren, Mackenzie Kendrick, Russell and Amber Parrish, James and Kelly Maples, Justin and Shar Maples, great grandchildren: Aubrie Parrish, Lauryn Parrish, Ginger Kaseman – Parrish, Lexi Maples, Jeffrey Maples, Samantha Peden and Stephanie Peden.

Many other relatives and friends also survive Joann.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
