Gerald Mitchell Jones

Gerald Mitchell Jones passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born in Snowball, Arkansas on December 12, 1925 to James Garland Jones and Grace Dreury.
Gerald was one of eight children with six brothers and one sister. He married Anna Belle Palmer and to this union was born four children, John, Jerry, Rick and Barbara.
His parents and five brothers preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna Belle Jones, of Siloam Springs, AR; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Regina Jones, Jerry and Kelley Jones and Rick Jones, all of Siloam Springs, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Joe Finfrock, of Graham, TX; one brother, Frank Jones, of Tulsa; one sister, Arizona Penland, of Muskogee; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Gerald received the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart on July 23, 1995. He and Anna Belle were both members of Kenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. One of his favorite passages in the Bible was II Timothy, chapter 4, verses 6-8 and verse 22. He was a military veteran, spending 20 years in the United States Navy. He retired out of the Navy in July 1965. After retiring out of the military, he spent 18 years working for Brand Rex as a shipping and receiving supervisor.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Westville City Cemetery with Pastor Joe Frinfrock officiating.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
