Obituary - LOVETA MARIE HARMON - Stilwell Democrat Journal - February 26, 1948 - (Westville News) Funeral service for Mrs. Loveta Marie HARMON, wife of John HARMON, who died at her home Thursday, February 19, after a long illness, was conducted from Roberts Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. Harvey HUMAN, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
Burial was in the city cemetery.
Mrs. HARMON was born April 29, 1901 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On January 11, 1920 she was united in marriage to John H. HARMON and they moved to Westville several years ago.
To this union were born two children, John H. HARMON, Jr., and a daughter, Wyvonne, both of whom survive and who are living in Tulsa.
Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Alice ROBERTSON of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Calvin CRITTENDEN of Tulsa and Mrs. Bill BRINEY of Antiock, California; and two brothers, Adam ROBERTSON of Tulsa and Roland ROBERTSON of Golden, Colorado.
She had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.
A quartet composed of Lorena PHILLIS, Winfred ALLISON, Geraldine SNYDER and Maxine ODLE, all high school students, sang three requested songs, with Mrs. James SMITH at the piano.
