Irene Hannah of Muskogee, OK passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years on November 6, 2020.  She was born on September 11, 1925 in Tahlequah, OK to Henry and Ollie Hill.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband John W. Hannah, son Johnny D. Hannah, grandson Kenneth Gordon, and seven brothers and sisters.

Lovingly remembered by her children Linda Basden (Jerry) of Muskogee, Fred Hannah of Claremore, Ed Hannah (Kathy) of Vonore, TN, Brenda Heytz (August) of Muskogee, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and recently one great-great-grandchild.  

Irene worked for Weddles Supermarkets for many years.  She later owned a business at Curt’s Mall in Muskogee prior to her retirement. 

She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, making quilts, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Visitation will be held at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home in Westville, OK on November 11, 2020 at 9am, to be followed by the funeral service at 10am.

Pallbearers will be sons Fred and Ed, grandsons Keith Hannah, Kevin Hannah, Jeremy Hannah, and grandson-in-law Jay Penn.

Interment to follow at Westville Cemetery.
