Anna Laura Bailey Gifford

Anna Laura Bailey Gifford was born February 3, 1923, in Rowe, Oklahoma, to Richard and Ruth (Williams) Bailey and went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2012, in Rogers, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 14 days.
On September 11, 1944, Anna was married to Hershel Leon Gifford in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who preceded her in death on December 15, 1989. Anna loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles. Anna was of the Pentecostal faith.
Preceding her in death were, her parents, her husband, Hershel, two sons, Hershel Jr. and Hollis, two daughters, Patricia and Patty, four brothers and three sisters.
She leaves behind a loving family which includes, her children, Margaret Russow, of Springdale, AR, Don and Rovita Gifford, of Westville, Kenny and Cindy Gifford, of Lincoln, MO, Helen and Larry Kneeland, of Broken Arrow, Robert and Susie Gifford, of Oaks, Terry and Iris Gifford, of Westville, Darrell and Janet Gifford, of Kansas, OK, Bonita Gifford, of Westville, Sheila and James Taylor, of Westville, Dewayne and Mary Lou Gifford, of Butler, MO, 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
