Helen Louise Fishinghawk

Helen Louise Fishinghawk was born on August 27, 1934, in Westville, Oklahoma, to Louie Ray and Lodema Florence (Maggard) Sweet.

She departed this life on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 10 days.
Helen graduated from Westville High School. On March 17, 1954, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Helen Louise Sweet and Paul Fishinghawk were united in marriage.

They have lived in Locust Grove since 1972, moving here from Tulsa. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Helen is survived by husband; Paul Fishinghawk of the home, three children; Rhonda Stanley and husband David of Tahlequah, OK, David Fishinghawk and wife Kelly of Locust Grove, OK, and Paula Fishinghawk of Tulsa, OK., ten grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother; Arlene Eugene "Bud" Sweet and wife Joyce of Colcord, OK., two sisters; Shirley Carlton and husband Lawrence of Westville, OK., and Aileen Lockard and husband Ken of Mountainberg, AR., aunt; Opal McGuire of Jefferson City, MO., uncle; Kenneth Maggard of Proctor, OK., other relatives and a host of friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Reverend Allen Buck will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Westville City Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
