Delma Lorine (Rene) Faddis was born July 28, 1928 in Chewey, Oklahoma the daughter of Albet Franklin and Josie Vanbeber Meredith and departed this life on July 19, 2019 at the age of 90 years, 11 months, and 19 days.

Rene was a devoted farmers wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent her life making sure everyone was taken care of, well fed, and the garden harvests were preserved. She absolutely loved yard sales and could pack a vehicle with more yard sale merchandise than could ever be imagined. She and Hance were huge gospel music fans and they loved to attend and participate in singings at various churches around the community. They were always willing and happy to open their home to all their musically talented family members and friends, often saying, “The more the merrier.”

Rene was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hance, her parents, sisters Nona Loop and Delphia Partain; brothers Chester, Lester and Williard Meredith and son-in-law Gary Willis.

She is survived by her son, Hank Faddis and his wife Pat, daughter Janet Willis, grandsons Johnny and Mindy Long, Hank Jr. and his wife Britney Faddis, Bryan Willis and his wife Meagan; granddaughters Robyn Willis and fiancé Heath VanHooser, and Lesli Fuson and husband Dylan; great-grandchildren Dylan Long, Kody Long, Colton Faddis, Chasity Sellers, Bandy Faddis, Brynlee Willis, Kerstin Willis, Levi Sellers, Rhett Willis, Wyatt Fuson, and Josie Faddis, as well as a host of family members, friends and loved ones.
