Opal Lorene Born, daughter of John P. and Linnie Rosetta (Dallas) Eden was born June 8, 1920 in Pumpkin Hollow and departed this life on January 30, 2007 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 22 days.
Opal was married to Melvin Conway Born on August 8, 1939 and to this union 4 children were born; Eugene, Raymond, Geneva and Melinda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Cecil Eden and Estel Eden, 1 sister: Hazel Lattey, 2 half sisters: Lottie Wilson and Ethel Stacy.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of over 65 years: Melvin Born of the home, 2 sons: Eugene Born and wife Polly of Fontana, CA, Raymond Born of Westville, OK, 2 daughters: Geneva Boling and husband Rusty of Tulsa, OK, Melinda Coronado of Westville, OK, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren 16 great-great grandchildren.

Several nieces nephews other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held Monday, February 5, 2007 in the Westville City Cemetery with Pastor Joe White and Minister Jimmy Ward officiating.

Interment followed under the ddirection of Roberts Funeral Home.
