Tola White Bouquet

Funeral service for Tola White BOUQUET, 82, was held Friday afternoon, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Westville, with Rev. Luther NELSON officiating, assisted by Bro. Leon CORNTASSEL.

Mrs. George MURRAY, Mrs. Chas. BROOKS and Mrs. Fred ALLISON, accompanied by Mrs. Paul CARRINGTON, sang, "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," and "Farther Along."

Pallbearers were John TABOR, George Beuhler BOUQUET 111, Tola BOUQUET, Ronald RHEA, Burl WILKIE and Jess WRIGHT. Flower bearers were Winifred TAYLOR, Lovey Alice BOUQUET, Joyce HELD, Helen GRIPP, Rita Kay SIMMONS, Sarah HEUSTIS.
Mr. BOUQUET was born in Dent County, Mo., June 26, 1880, the son of George B. and Nancy Ann BOUQUET. He received his education in the schools of Farmington, Ark. The family moved to Baron, Indian Territory, when he was a young man.
He married Alice Ola SUMMERLIN, October 24, 1904, in Farmington, Ark. Mrs. BOUQUET preceded Mr. BOUQUET in death, February 24, 1958.
Mr. BOUQUET was converted many years ago and became a member of the Holiness church.
Survivors are the six children, Mrs. Allie NELSON, of Rolling Hills Estates, Calif., Mrs. Birdie LANIER, Monterey Park, Calif., Mrs. Violet BEAN, Pawhuska, Mrs. Luther SIMMONS, Westville, Roy E. BOUQUET, Amarillo, Texas, and George B. BOUQUET 11, Cincinnati, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Mattie BUTTERWORTH, Springfield, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Interment was in Westville Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
