Mary Jane Beach, daughter of Blue Ralph and Nannie (Gibson) Suwake and later adopted and raised by Stan and Tinna (Dog) Gibson was born June 4, 1931 in Chewey, OK and departed this life surrounded by loved ones on September 14, 2015 in Westville, OK at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 10 days.

Mary Jane spent most of her adult life helping grow and expand the town of Westville. She was very instrumental in helping get several things completed in and around Westville. She also enjoyed going to church at Proctor Community Church and reading her Bible. One of her favorite enjoyments was cooking for her family and having gatherings with them where they could all laugh and visit with each other.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister; Leoma Gourd, brother; Ross Vann and granddaughter; Kristen Burke.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Marcella Morton and husband Leon of Westville, OK, Joey Lee West of Wagoner, OK, Rosemary Davis and granddaughter: Carly Jo Murphy of Westville, OK, Charlie Goldman and wife Janey of Siloam Springs, AR, Tina Burke and husband Randy of Carrollton, TX, grandson; Chris Guthrie of the home, 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. 3 sisters; Willie Mae Vann of Chewey, OK, Thelma Forrest of Tahlequah, OK, Leona Crittenden of Oaks, OK, brother; Raymond Vann of Tahlequah, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 10 am on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Bro. Keith Mings officiating.

Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK.
