Peggy Lou Daugherty, the daughter of Dobson Rooster and Arlie (Ratt) Rooster, was born March 24, 1938 in Tahlequah, OK.
On July 9, 2006, she departed this life in Tulsa, OK at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 15 days.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Wyley Daugherty, Sr.; Stepson, Wyley Daugherty, Jr.; sister, Sarah Swimmer and Martha Spade; brothers, William and Jim Rooster.
She leaves behind her daughters, Karen Daugherty, Debra McGee and husband, Avery, all of Stilwell, OK, Margie Guevara and husband, Mauricio, of Westminster, S. Carolina, Ronetta Romero and husband Rafael, and Rhona Martinez, all of Stilwell OK; sons, Jackie Daugherty and wife, Linda, Carlos Daugherty and wife, Stella and Rodney Daugherty, all of Stilwell, OK; brother Joe Rooster, of Hulbert, OK; two sisters, Lucinda Wilkerson and Betsy Turtle, of Tahlequah, OK; two grandsons whom she raised as her own, Brian Medina and Sergio Mendina, of Stilwell OK; 25 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
