Mrs. Maude Worley, 71, wife of Adair County Sheriff Luke Worley, died last Saturday in the Stilwell Municipal Hospital. Mrs. Worley, born September 1, 1897, in New Nata, Arkansas, had lived in Adair County for many years.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of the home in Stilwell, include: one son, Wren Worley, Stilwell, and Adair County Commissioner: and two daughters, Mrs. Rodena Rogers and Mrs. Cliff (Edra) Hudgins, both of Stilwell; and two brothers, Hulus Dugger, Stilwell and June Trammell, Oklahoma City.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Batchelder, First Baptist Church pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
