U.S. Veteran Funeral services for D.L. Woods were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

D.L. Woods was born March 20, 1934, in Lexington, Tennessee to Thomas and Georgia (Sisk) Woods and passed from this life on August 5, 2009, in Blanchard, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 15 days.
