Memorial services for Elva Scott, 75, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Church of Christ with Dr. Dean English, officiating.
Interment will be in Stilwell Cemetery at a later time under the direction of Hughes Funeral Home of Canadian, TX.
Mrs. Scott passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 in Canadian, TX.
Elva was born November 11, 1932 in Okmulgee, OK to the late Mr. Lee Cragg and Mrs. Beulah )Lee) Cragg.
She attended schools around Okmulgee, OK. She married Elmer Scott on May 5, 1949 in Clayton, NM. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1971.
She moved to Canadian, TX in 2001 from Walsh, CO. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by one son, Elmer Dwayne Scott on November 30, 2000, two brothers, Phillip and Fred Cragg, five sisters, Christine Johnson, Mary Denise, Aileen Cloud, Doris Smith and Betty Fowler.
She is survived by four sons, Jack Lee Scott of Woodward, OK, Larry Gene Scott of Custer City, OK, Mitchell Ray Scott and wife Patty of Moscow, KS, Billy Joe Scott and wife Dorothy of Stigler, OK, four daughters, Sandra Elaine Smithee and husband Charles of Canadian, TX, Darla Kay Caddick and husband Don of Ulysses, KS, Joy Annette Tate and husband Ritchie of Canadian, TX, Sharon Gail Molina and husband Joe of Dumas, TX, one brother, Bill Cragg and wife Earlene of Stilwell, OK, two sisters, Ruby Brown of Westville, OK, Louise Brown of Stilwell, OK, 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-breat-grandson.
