Dave Henry Sanders, son of John and Annie (Jones) Sanders was born April 14, 1935 in Stilwell, OK, and departed this life to be with our Lord on February 17, 2015 in Stilwell, OK, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 3 days.

Dave was a member of the Christian Worship Center. He attended faithfully while his health permitted. He also enjoyed taking the gospel to people who were not able to attend church. He loved hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family. He also loved gospel singing whether it be in English or Cherokee.

He was prededed in death by his parents; brothers: Steve Littledeer, Woodrow Littledeer, Louie Littledeer, Ranch Sanders and Baby Boy Sanders, sisters: Nancy Sawney and Linda Cochran.

Dave is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Patricia Sanders of the home, children: Lenora Goodrich and Warren of Chewey, OK, David Sanders and wife Lenora, Kenneth Sanders and wife Jeanie all of Stilwell, OK, Jacky Sanders and wife Alisha of Kenwood, OK, Jesse Sanders and companion Trish Birdtail of Tahlequah, OK, Bessie Buds and husband Donnie of Kenwood, OK, Sheri Yoder and husband Rodney of Mountville, PA, Christy Harvey and husband Troy of Ward, AR, Michelle Clifton of Charleston, SC, 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren. Sisters: Mary Sue Canoe and husband Roy, Polly Noisewater of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
