Elleta June (Williams) Quinton, the daughter of Bert and Bessie (Colston) Williams, was born June 23, 1923, in Marble City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on November 21, 2013, in Salina, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 28 days.
Elleta was a lifelong resident of Adair County. She was married to Ted Quinton and their union lasted 46 years. They were blessed with one daughter, Sandra. Elleta loved to cook for her nieces and nephews and enjoyed reading them stories when they were young.
She worked for Baldor Electric and retired after many years of service. Elleta was a member of Christian Worship Center.
Those preceding her in death include, her husband, Ted Quinton, parents, Bert and Bessie Williams, two sisters, Nadine Jones and Wilma Williams, two brothers, Ray and Perry Williams, three nieces and three nephews.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her daughter, Sandra Addington and husband, Gary, of Tahlequah, OK; grandson, Brian Addington and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Floyd Kester Kester officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
