Edna Lelan Price, daughter of William Sisco and Sabina “Hutchinson” Sisco, came into this world on March 19, 1917 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years and 8 days.
Edna was a member of the Holiness Faith. She lived her life as an example for others and touched many lives. Edna worked on the line at Stilwell Foods for years. During her time there she became friends with everyone she met. She loved to visit and share stories. Her smile was infectious and could light up a room. She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed.
Her parents: William and Sabina Sisco, her first husband: Eugene Conwell, her second husband: Joe Price, sister: Alyene Caviness, two brothers: Bill & Jim Sisco preceded her in death.
Surviving Edna are her sisters: Delphine Morton and husband Ace of Checotah, OK, Betty Abbott and husband Troy, Louise Ritter, Revon Isaacs and husband Thurman, Rita James and husband Jerry, all of Stilwell, OK, two special sister-in-laws: Alburtia Stevens and husband Clarence, Wilburtia Burns, both of Stilwell. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
