Robert Dee Phillips


Robert Dee Phillips was born on September 15, 1949, to Edward and Lilly Phillips in Fullerton, California.


He has 5 siblings, Betty Spangler of Pollack Pines California, Danny Phillips of Grand Rapids Michigan, Elaine Phillips of Laton California, Opal Leasure of Madera California, and Cliff Johnson of Danville Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father Edward Phillips, his mother Lilly Phillips and his sister Betty Spangler.

Robert had 5 children Tonja, Rebecca, and Zach of New York and Moya Reneau of Stiwell,Ok and Ginger Beck of Rogers Arkansas, he has 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and many many Nieces and Nephews.

Robert Married Frances Phillips on July 29, 1984 in Hawaiian Gardens California.  They lived in Lakewood, California for 8 years then in 1992, they loaded up the streak and relocated to Oklahoma to be closer to family and to help his Mother In-law Rev. Mary Orman in her Church in Westville, Ok.

Robert was a long haul truck driver for 35 years, and he Pastored for 20 years with his wife Frances Phillips at New Beginning House Of Prayer in Westville,Ok. In 2013 they retired and became members at Tabernacle of Praise in Westville, Ok. He lived in Stilwell, OK with his loving wife of 38 years.

R.D. loved to fish, hunt, shoot guns, camp, ride roller coasters, grill, and work on cars with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved shopping with Alexis, dancing to the oldies in the kitchen with Frances and he never ran out of flashlights or craftsman tools. R.D. never met a stranger or someone he didn't like. He was always kind and happy to witness and share Jesus with everyone and he loved to laugh and spend time with his family and friends.

In the words of R.D. Phillips: "A Man that leads his family in prayer can lead his family anywhere. Keep Looking Up!! Jesus is coming soon."

Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Westville Tabernacle

of Praise with interment to following at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
