Lavada May Petree, daughter of Ted and Bell (Hiler) Potter was born May 14, 1929 in Porum, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on January 17, 2015 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 3 days.

She loved the outdoors and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed cooking and did this as a profession for many years. She also enjoyed making necklaces during her stay at the nursing home.

Lavada was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Troy Petree, son; Ray Petree, grandson; Tony Petree, sister; Hazel Adkins and brother; Bayne Potter.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Dennis Petree and wife Jackie, Debby Petree all of Stilwell, OK, Coleeta Saunders and husband Todd, daughter in law; Jackie Petree all of Rifle, CO, 9 grandchildren; Keith Petree and wife Shawna, Stephanie May and husband Travis, Dennis Petree, Tammy Pitts and husband Mark, Ted Petree and wife Nikke, Troy Petree and wife Lynn, Kevin Reed and wife Deena, Dustin Kuberry and wife Melissa, Nicholas Kuberry and wife Treava. Two sisters; Joyce Carol Nunes and husband Tony of California, Linda Sue Flynn and husband Art of Colorado, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
