James Cragg Panter
November 18, 1934-October 17, 2008
James Cragg Panter son of Tom and Drusilla (Cragg) Panter was born November 18, 1934 in stilwell, OK and departed this life on October 17, 2008 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 29 days.
He worked as a truck drive for Stilwell foods for Many years. His most recent employment was with Baldor Electric in Westville where he retired after working 20 years.
James was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Ralph and Bennie Panter, and 1 sister; Lahoma Fuson.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes 2 sisters; Lena Guffey of Welling, OK, Roxie Radford and husband Jewel of Redding, CA, seventeen nieces and nephews, umerous great and great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and may friends.
Graveside services were held in the Stilwell City Cemetery, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m with Justin Vann officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
