November 29, 1990 - April 13, 2006
Michael Bradley Morton was born on November 29, 1990, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Michael Allen and Rebecca (Hawk) Morton, and departed this life on April 13, 2006 in Tulsa Oklahoma at the age of 15 years, four months and 14 days
Michael was a freshman at Stilwell High School and enjoyed playing both football and basketball. He loved sports and enjoyed the competition. Michael also loved playing with his dog Bear. He enjoyed being with his friends and being with his family as much as he could. There wasn’t anyone he didn’t know and was always willing to help anyone, no matter what.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Sam Hawk, paternal grandparents Fred and Gurtie Morton, maternal great grandparents Jack Walden and Becky Rooster, paternal great grandparents Lillie and Jess McMurtery; and one uncle: Marlin Hawk
He is survived by a very loving family that includes, his parents Michael A. and Rebecca Morton of the home in Stilwell: paternal grandparents A.J. and Donna Morton; maternal grandmother Mary Edith Hawk; two sisters: Catrina Ann Flynn and husband Tiny of Tahlequah, and Carrie Brooke Morton and husband Terry Sanders of Stilwell, and one brother: Nathan Allen Morton of the home in Stilwell. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stilwell High School Gymnasium with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
