Jackie Ray Morton, Sr., son of A. J. and Dona (McMurtrey) Morton, was born May 25, 1956 in Stilwell, OK, and passed from this life to be with our Lord on April 12, 2015 in Stilwell, OK, at the age of 58 years.

Jackie enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jackie liked to play his guitar at church and spending time with his brothers. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: A.J. and Dona Morton, daughter: Angela Kay Morton, brother: Johnny Morton and nephew: Michael Bradley Morton.

Jackie is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes his children: Christina Lopez and husband Miguel of Colcord, OK, Stephen Morton and wife Terria, Laura Morton, both of Stilwell, OK, Jackie Ray Morton, Jr. and wife Krystal of Mulberry, AR, Jessica Morton of Stilwell, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers: Frank Morton, Michael Morton and wife Rebecca of Stilwell.

Many other friends and relatives also survive Jackie.

Funeral services were held at 10 am on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Piney Creek Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Leo McLemore officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
