Johnson Fourkiller son of Albert and Ellen (Bailey) Fourkiller was born November 10, 1940 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on June 3, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 23 days.
He taught and worked with several schools including Watts, Belfonte, Bell, Maryetta and Cave Springs. He also worked for LifeStar EMS out of Sallisaw and the Cherokee Nation. He was a member of the Stilwell Fire Department for 20 years. Johnson served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Loetia Fourkiller, 2 brothers; Steve and George Fourkiller and 1 sister; Peggy Moss.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his daughter; Lisa Fourkiller of Fayetteville, AR, son: Roger Fourkiller and wife Kate of Bixby, OK, granddaughter; Isabella Fourkiller of Bixby, OK. Two sisters; Virginia Martin of Stilwell, OK, and Linda Burba and husband Joe of Springdale, AR, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Richard Garner and Bro. Danny Willard officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
